Southwestern Academy, established in 1924, is a coeducational, college preparatory boarding and day school, offering grades 6-12 and postgraduate studies. Intentionally small, we support the educational needs of both domestic and international students within our close-knit community. In addition to a rigorous academic curriculum that features AP and honors courses, 100% of our seniors are accepted into their choice university. With a student body consisting of up to 144 students on our safe and nurturing San Marino, CA campus, we have built a legacy dedicated to the academic, social, artistic, and athletic development of every student. Remarkably diverse, students at Southwestern come from all over the USA and 16 foreign countries each year.

The value of a Southwestern Academy education lies in the opportunities it creates and how well prepared students are for what happens after graduation. All Southwestern Academy graduates gain admission to various colleges around the country and world. Their experiences at Southwestern ensure that they will not only have the opportunity to choose which school best fits them as an individual, but that they will begin that phase of their education with a greater understanding of who they are and what they are passionate about.
